Children Four to Five years of age are grouped according to age with emphasis on developmental readiness. Routine activities include art, music, literature and circle time. At this age, outside play and exercise are integral to fine tuning gross motor skills. There are also many opportunities for group activities for fostering social skills. Our thematic program (where children are taught social listening and critical thinking skills in preparation for formal schooling) help them gain knowledge through the exploration of various themes during the year.

Funding Subsidies:
Building Blocks Learning Center accepts funding from many different sources, including but not limited to DHHS and the Department of Defense. Staff can help families find a program that suits the needs of their family and will assist with the process of application if requested.
